About Lynn Robbins, PA-C, ATC

Lynn Robbins is a native to St. Louis. She attended Lindenwood University where she received a degree in Athletic Training. In addition to graduating Summa Cum Laude, Ms. Robbins was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma Honorary Society, an All-American athlete, and a female scholar-athlete of the year. After college, Ms. Robbins worked as the head athletic trainer at an area high school. Ms. Robbins received her physician assistant training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where she graduated with a degree in physician assistant studies. Ms. Robbins has more than 10 years experience as a physician assistant in orthopedics. Ms. Robbins is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and received special recognition in surgery. She has also retained her certification as an athletic trainer. Ms. Robbins is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.

Physician assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. As part of their comprehensive responsibilities, PAs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery, and write prescriptions. Within the physician-PA relationship, physician assistants exercise autonomy in medical decision making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
