Happy President’s Day! Hopefully most of you are safe at home as we wait out 6-8 inches of snow and bone chilling cold. Not everyone enjoys the snow as much as my dog, but eventually most of us will have to go back outside. This is your reminder that the ice and snow is supposed to stick around at least 4-5 days, with potentially more coming midweek. For that reason, it’s important to remember that many broken ankles, wrists, and shoulders occur in the days following the ice and snow after we all try to return to normal activities. Remember to wear proper shoes with good tread, watch where you step, and be cautious of ice under layers of snow.
